On Saturday, June 26, 2010, SLASPA, through the employees at La Place Carenage welcomed the 2010 Carnival Queen Contestants to a grand tour of the facility.

The first stop was a visit to the Desmond Skeete Animation Center where Ms. Marva Greenidge, Marketing Specialist, warmly greeted the contestants expressing “you are about to spend the best 20 minutes of your day and we hope this will add to your understanding of the history and development of Saint Lucia”.

The contestants thoroughly enjoyed the show which was quite evident by the smiles on their faces as they departed the center. The feedback received was that the show was “Fantastic, Great and Awesome.

This visit by the Contestants formed part of their annual shopping spree which concluded with a visit to Duty Free Caribbean at La Place Carenage. SLASPA takes this opportunity to wish all the contestants the best of luck.
