SLASPA Launches Re-PORT, a new Monthly Publication

Castries – Thursday, February 18, 2010 - The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) will soon launch a new monthly statistical publication called “Re-PORT”. Re-PORT gives customers a glimpse of the performance of the Authority’s core areas of airport, sea cargo, cruise and ferry operations and other major happenings in the various business sectors at the Airports and Seaports.

Re-PORT will work in tandem with SLASPA’s weekly newspaper column ‘Portfolio’. Portfolio seeks to keep port users and the general public informed on port operations, security matters and some of the interesting personalities influencing the shape and future of the Ports. However, Re-PORT will provide a concise statistical review of the activities at the Airports and Seaports.

Grace Herman, Research and Statistical Officer said “SLASPA through its management of St. Lucia’s entry and exit points connects the island to countries around the world. We therefore affect the lives of almost every person who live in St. Lucia and want to make every effort to keep our customers and stakeholders informed in a timely and efficient manner. Re-PORT, will assist us in ensuring that all stakeholders are in the know.”

Re-PORT will be published in the weekly edition of the Mirror starting Friday March 5, 2010.
