SLASPA Keeps You In the Know!

As we have indicated in previous issues of Portfolio, we at SLASPA has made strides in recent times to strengthen our Customer Relations and have utilized a number of tools in which to do so which we will share with you today.

Let’s start with Portfolio…Portfolio as you know is a weekly column (which you are currently reading) we publish in the weekend edition of the Voice Newspaper that provides our customers, stakeholders and the wider public with information about SLASPA inclusive of profiling some of the leaders within the organization like we did with Sean Matthew our General Manager, achievements of staff and events we host like Tea Time Jazz. Earlier this year we started another newspaper column named “Re‐Port” which is a monthly column that can be found in the Mirror Newspaper. Re‐Port gives customers a glimpse of the performance of the Authority’s core areas of airport, sea cargo, cruise and ferry operations. Both Portfolio and Re‐Port are emailed to internal and external customers after they have been published.

Another tool that we use which has become highly effective in strengthening our brand and communication is our quarterly Magazine SLASPA In Focus, which features the major events, changes and attributes of SLASPA and also highlights the development of staff within the organization. SLASPA In focus is emailed to over 500 local, regional and international contacts and can be found on our website www.slaspa.com.

We also have other regular publications that are emailed, faxed and sometimes mailed to industry partners, stakeholders and other interested persons. A few of these publications include Port News, Industry Updates, Internal and External Press Releases and that is just print! We also utilized television and radio mediums to connect with our stakeholders and industry partners and we have something special planned for the radio! We will be launching “Port Call” and “Boarding Pass” which will provide tips to our port users on rules and regulations at our facilities, tips on visiting the seaports and even travel tips.
