Castries – Friday, April 25, 2014 – The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA), recently held the launch for Tea Time Jazz 2014.  As a mainstay on the official Calendar of Events of the St. Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival for seventeen years, Tea Time Jazz is a series of free concerts which will be held on Wednesday 7^th and Thursday 8^th May 2014 at La Place Carenage Duty Free Shopping Mall. Tea Time Jazz features top notch local performances and signature complimentary tea, coffee and light snacks while patrons enjoy the music and the ambience. 

The special launch of Tea Time Jazz 2014 took the form of a chat show “Sip and Chat” with Marva Greenidge Marketing Specialist Commercial Development as hostess and Peter Lewis Port Officer as Co-host, which was sponsored by Bryden and Partners Ltd and Sweetdreams Custom Cakes. Among Ms. Greenidge’s guests was SLASPA’s General Manager (Ag), Ben Emmanuel, who explained the significance of SLASPA to the economic, social and cultural development of Saint Lucia.

Miss SLASPA Geena McPhee, unveiled the line-up “The talented line-up kicks off on Wednesday May 7^th with Total Experience which includes, Alpha; Semi, as well as Transfix who pleases their audience with a wide range of genres.  Also on that day class act Chrycee will be amazing patrons with her sweet voice. On Thursday May 8^th the bands ‘Skip Monday’ and ‘EvaLucian’ will be closing us off with their dynamic renditions. ”

Performing at the launch of Tea Time Jazz was the band Skip Monday, led by Nick Devaux with Stacey Charles on lead vocalist.
